note: I am currently not accepting new clients,

but happy to offer referrals

I love working with teens (12+) and young adults who are looking for an ally in exploring their identity, difficulties with school, family relationships, friendships, and more. I have experience with trauma (including preverbal trauma and cPTSD), anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity formation.

I have a special interest in working with and providing an affirming space for people who are neurodivergent, queer, and/or experiencing chronic pain/illness. My style is warm, humanistic, and collaborative, and I believe in humor as a great tool for healing and connection. I also believe in bringing our authentic selves into the therapy room and love to incorporate hobbies and interests into treatment.

In my personal life, I am an avid fiction reader, a hobbyist sculptor, and a gnome wizard.

I offer telehealth appointments for clients in the state of Washington, and have in person availability on Thursdays at 320 Dayton Street, Edmonds, WA 98020. There is 3 hour parking available near the office and the building is ADA accessible.

Qualifications & Fees

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Washington (LW61163270). I have six years of clinical experience working with clients aged 8-25 and their families. I'm trained in evidence based practices including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), IFS (internal family systems), and EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing). I am also a big proponent of affinity therapy, which involves bringing your interests and hobbies into treatment. As an example, I'm trained in therapeutically-applied roleplaying games (like Dungeons & Dragons).

I am in network with Premera, Lifewise, and Medicaid Molina. I may also be considered an out of network provider by your insurance company, in which case I can provide you with a Superbill to seek reimbursement. If you are not using insurance, my rates as of June 2022 are $160 for ongoing individual therapy appointments (50-55 minutes).

I am able to offer sliding scale/low cost sessions for a small amount of people. If you feel you may be eligible and benefit from this, reach out to me and we can discuss if I have the capacity at this time.
